Smart home technologies are advancing exponentially year on year and this is only set to continue.

Along with the obvious cool factor, smart homes can also help make our energy usage much more efficient by automatically monitoring and switching off lights when there is enough light in the room or if there are no people present, switching off appliances that are not in use, turning on purifiers if there is too much pollen in the air... the list goes on.

Smart tech can also be used to keep us safe, for example smart security systems, cameras and intelligent smoke, heat and carbon monoxide sensors.

Of course, every home needs a smart fridge, ovens, hobs, washing machines, dishwashers and so on… open and closing your blinds manually is a thing of the past.
